A Great Start to the Year in P3/4
It was a busy, funfilled month of September in P3/4. We all designed our unique Child of the Day person and collaborated to make our Creation posters. There was lots of fun learning around mental maths and place value. We loved celebrating Roald Dahl day. We also explored the dfferent types of materials around the school. We saw how heat changes materials when we made our chocolate cornflake buns, which we then ate-yummy. Outdoor learning in the playground and in the mud kitchen has been so much fun. There has been lots of PE with Fiachra and Aiden keeping us fit and healthy. Miss Una has been helping us sing and make music every Friday.
We also looked at Baptism as part of our religion, how we have grown and changed since then.
We are also celebrating super results in Mathletics and Accelerated Reading, keep up the hard work everyone.
We also congratulate Tiarnan on his firsts in Karate and Charlie on getting his red belt, well done boys. A big thank you to Mrs Quigley for our hot chocolate treat.
Well done to our pupils of the month, who have shown great dedication to their work and the Golden Rules.
We look forward to another month of fun and learning.
