Free Dyslexia Awareness Training for Parents
October is dyslexia awareness month. In St. Michaels’s one of our whole school targets this year is to ensure that our teachers and classroom assistants are fully informed and equipped with the latest strategies to support children with dyslexia. Staff have already completed training in “Dyslexia Friendly Classroom Environment”, with further staff development in this area later in the term.
We want to bring our parents along with us in this journey so that you have the knowledge and strategies to support your child if you suspect that they are displaying dyslexic tendencies. Developing strong consistent parent -school partnerships is the best way to support children’s learning. If you would like to avail of this free training which is normally priced at £22 please click on the link below before the 31st of October and select the ‘for parents and care givers’ option.
