Looking after our mental health in P1 and P2 😀
Primary 1 and 2 learnt all about their mental health this week. They know our mental health has got to do with how we feel inside our head and our heart. The children checked in with their feelings throughout the day and realised how much their feelings can change. They thought of things that would make them happy in school this week and each day the Child of the Day picked one from a hat. We have been to the shop for a treat, got out some toys we haven’t had out in a wee while, had a tea party and played cops and robbers. We are looking forward to a walk to the park when it gets a little bit warmer. We had a workshop with Avril from Debutots which was fab! To finish the week, the boys and girls wore their own clothes as they ‘Dressed to Express’ and that they did! It’s been a busy but lovely week and I’m sure everyone is feeling a little bit tired but happy as we go in to the midterm break!
