National Winnie the Pooh Day Monday 18th January 2021
15th Jan 2021
Help us at St. Michael's remember the life and work of the famous author A.A. Milne by taking part in some fun activities for National Winnie the Pooh Day on January 18th. This day commemorates author A.A. Milne’s birthday in 1882. He brought the adorable, honey-loving bear to life in his stories, which also featured his son, Christopher Robin.
Although we may be apart, we can still celebrate together by partaking in some of the suggested activities below. Please forward images of your activities to your teacher via Goggle Classroom.
Suggested Activities:
- Have a Teddy Bears Picnic in your living room with lots of honey on the menu!
- Listen to/ or read some of the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Draw a map of the Hundred Acre Wood.
- Make a birthday card for A.A Milne
- Draw your favourite character from Winnie the Pooh
- Illustrate your favourite Winnie the Pooh quote
- Snuggle up after completing your work and enjoy a Winnie the Pooh cartoon or movie.
Enjoy and take care,
Miss Devine
