Today Primary 5 and 6 had their first formal Numeracy lesson in our new outdoor classroom and the response from the children was extremely positive. Primary 6 pupils explored simplifying fractions and represented their answers using pebbles and twigs. While Primary 6 were busy with their teacher led lesson, Primary 5 children consolidated their knowledge of the times tables by creating factor flowers.
Children learn best when they are happy!
