Congratulations to Aimee, Grace, Eoghan, Rory, Cain, Kate, Clara, Sophia, James and Charleigh Jean, who received the sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time yesterday, (Sunday 20th June) at St Mary's church Aughabrack.
It was a very reverent and beautiful occasion, in which all the children took part, by reading, bringing up their Baptismal candles and gifts and I must congratulate them on their impeccable behaviour.
Well done everyone, you should be so proud of yourselves, as I'm sure your families are. Mrs Moore and I certainly are very proud of you all.
Thank you to Fr Mc Devitt for making the mass so special and to Aine and the ladies, for the beautiful singing which added to the occasion.
Thank you to the parents for your support in helping to prepare your children for this most memorable day in their lives.
