St Michaels' PS Christmas Performance 2020: A Little Bit of Christmas Cheer to Brighten Up this Different Year.
Pupils and staff at St Michael’s PS were extremely saddened that Covid19 conditions meant that there could be no gathering together to celebrate Christmas this year. However, we wanted to spread a little bit of Christmas Magic, so everyone got on their Christmas jumpers or costumes and sparkled:
Primary 1/ 2 told us all about the birth of the Baby Jesus and the visit of a grumpy sheep, P3/4 reminded us about a favourite reindeer with a shiny nose, P5/6 gave us warm smiles whilst telling us about a Frosty Snowman and P6/7 reminded us about the beautiful child that was born on that ‘Silent Night’.
Shay, Colleen, Meadhbh, Alysha, Eoghan, Layla, Michaela, Tiarnάn, Shauna, Millie and Tomάs introduced the performances in a very professional manner. Finally, Layla and Tiernan heard the sleigh bells that told us all that it was time for Jingle Bells … everyone relaxed afterwards with a cup of hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream.
Thanks to all our pupils and staff for preparing and performing this Christmas 'special' and especially to our producer, Mrs Emma Quigley, for making it all possible.
We hope you enjoy the performance. It was different but fun! Let’s hope we’ll be performing live for you next year. Now, sit back, relax and let us spread a little Christmas cheer.
