Yesterday our children had the pleasure of welcoming through our doors the new joint manager of the Tyrone County Team helping to create wonderful memories that the Primary 5 and 6 children from St. Michael’s will cherish forever.
This class had the honour of securing one of the first interviews with the new joint manager. After being contacted only hours after the announcement on the 25th November, Brian immediately confirmed his participation in this class project much to the disbelief yet excitement of the class. They listened attentively to his responses and took on board his words of wisdom. Brian advised the children to be the best version of themselves and reminded each and everyone of them that they all have the potential to play for Tyrone some day.
When asked ‘Would you rather be remembered as a great footballer or a great manager?’ His simple response was ‘How about both!’ We can only wish him every success as he undoubtedly proceeds to achieve this status.
